The American Association of Candy Technologists Rocky Mountain Section (www.aactrm.org) and Institute of Food Technologists Bonneville Section held their annual Famous Dave’s BBQ Extravaganza at Liberty Park in Salt Lake City yesterday evening.
The event was well attended by USU students and faculty. To the disappointment of USU Lance was unable to defend his 2008 Pie Eating title, however Megan Tippets made us proud by capturing the Coconut Bowling title.
Thank you to AACT Rocky Mountain Section and IFT Bonneville section for subsidizing the event and providing an exceptional opportunity for students to network with their industry people and their peers.
