Megan Tippets – volunteer for AACT

MeganTippettsMegan Tippetts has recently volunteered to join the AACT Rocky Mountain Section (www.aacgtrm.org) website maintenance team.

The new website allows fresh articles to posted for the world to see. Members can email their article content to Megan, who will proof read, edit, and post your article as soon as possible.

Megan Tippetts has a BS in Chemical Engineering from University of Utah, a MS from Utah State University, and is working towards a Ph.D. at Utah State under the direction of Dr. Silvana Martini (www.martiniresearch.com).

Her area of research is on the stability of oil-in-water emulsions. Megan, also, studies the retention of different nutrients in food and how it is affected by different food matrices. In addition to her hard work as a graduate student, Megan has a keen interest in the confectionery industry. She loves thinking, talking and dreaming about chocolate and all the fascinating science this entails.

Megan is looking forward to getting to know all members in her role as the Rocky Mountain Section Article/BLOG moderator.
